A researcher was researching impotence after various prostate cancer treatments.

He spoke to several recent brachytherapy patients and asked how often they were having sex. He totaled up their responses and calculated the average as once a week. The patients expressed their satisfaction as 6 on once a scale of 1 to 10.

The researcher then moved on to patents who had been treated with CyberKnife. Again he totaled their responses and came up with an average of two times a week. The patients expressed their satisfaction as a 7 on the scale of 1 to 10.

The researcher talked to his first radical prostatectomy who related his frequency was once a year (yes only once a year) but he seemed to be extremely happy. The researcher was puzzled as to why someone who only had sex once a year was so happy so he pressed the patient for details. The patient explained that his doctor had said he "might be impotent up to a year after surgery". He went on to explain it had been a full year since he had the surgery and he was going on a date tonight!!!smile
