Gotcha covered. Praying for Kent0 -
Yes....Kent's word is a part
of my everyday life these days. It amazed me how comforting it was to me when I got BELIEVE inserted into my daily thinking. Thanks Kent!!!

ALWAYS !
All postive warmest thoughts and BELIEVE always ! Katie0 -
Amen!
Believe is one the wonderful words belonging with Faith. Soon after we got the cancer dx, I wrote the word "Faith" on my memo board at home that hangs on my refrigerator. I love that I wrote it there, because I walk by the refrigerator many times a day.... thus reminding myself to keep it. It has helped me tremendously on days I'm not so sure what day is up. I think I will add "Believe" to it as well. Thanks for the reminder John!
Merry Christmas and God Bless us ALL,
~C

50 PERCENT OF BEATING THE BEAST
So true. All of the best medical science has to offer can be reduced by negativity. I believe that if one does not believe you will beat cancer, chances are you will not.
Merry Christmas to you and your family

Have been away awhile, and now I see this...awesome, John. Thank you for the card, which is for everyone of us.
And, yes, believe the Lord is with you in the fight you are in with old C, without a doubt; and, equally, as Mike says- believe you will beat the C with the help of your Med team, also without a doubt. I got a framed 16x20 picture of footprints in the sand, along with the words of that living passage, on the wall behind my computer. And I did Pray to Jesus, as I still do, to help me thru tx, and felt He was with me thru it all. Maybe it was Jesus, and maybe a little of the Butkus mindset (To the Negative obstacle-"Get out of my way, cause I'm moving forward"), but even in the worst of times I kept the Positive mindset in complete control- of believing I would get to exactly where I ended up getting to, and the H&N tx experience was nowhere near as bad as I had thought it likely would be. I believed, without a doubt, that I would survive the fight, and win; and, if it can be done by little old me- then anyone can.
You, John, and Tim, and all the rest of us who've been around for more than a couple years provide the real testimony that H&N is a very winnable fight, but you are the one who helps more people than anyone of us does, and that's a really good thing. Thanks, man, and a Merry Christmas to you and the Mrs., and maybe I'll drive down to Florida and see you two when I retire in 2019! I'll be driving the car that kinda looks like a Mississippi Mud Cat! Yes!

What a fish, where are you in this photo? More important, how are you doing these days? Hope all is well with you and your family, and lets hope 2013 is better than 2012.

Pictures are easy now...
You can either copy and past the Direct Link using something like Photobucket.
Or, you can now even insert it from the message box using the small tree looking icon center top. To use that, copy the photo from the source (your computer), and insert it.
Using the icon, you upload your photo from the Image URL, Upload, then point to where your photo is stored. and insert..or insert the Photobucket Direct here also will work.
You can play with the size here also after the photo shows up, by clicking the photo, and moving the corners.
Best ~ John

I hope you have a great 2013, Steve. 18* right now in the Quad Cities as I write this at 1:30 AM on 1/1/13, so summer is on it's...uh, uh, need to book me a flight to Arizona! Still haven't needed to make another drive out to Iowa City, and hoping I can say the same a year from now. Best to you in the year that's now here.

Right back at ya Kent. I hope we both continue on our quest forward to good health in 2013. I will look you up next summer when I'm back in Iowa....I live in No. Cal now and I stay away from those single digit degree states as much as possible.
Glad to hear you are doing well. Keep it up!!!

hey, i wanna come to the party too. I am 15 minutes from the financial district, living in the East Bay. I'm sure I'll have plenty of chemo-rad stories by then.
