Better be safe
I know what you mean calling the doc too much but the 15th is still a long way off. Better be safe than orry. Pray it is nothing serious. Jeff0 -

What kind of cancer you have that is aggressive? I have signet ring cell and it is also aggressive---always looking for oaths with this type, it seems to not be very common.
I'd go ahead and check with the doctor, it will help ease your mind. No use worrying from now till the 15th.

We all feel like this at times.
Best to mention with your doctor.
I had to have a D and C procedure and felt such peace of mind when it was over. This was after my last chemo in August.
We have enough to deal with and getting this off your mind will greatly help.

Hi Debbie....I too agree.....we all feel like that wondering what every pain could be....could it be cancer? we think or try not to think or we sortof think.....
I am not saying do not call your doctor....but just sayin that I still get lots of discomfort on my right side below the right breast and I think a lot of it is digestive...after the surgeries and chemo I really do not feel we digest as well as we once did....but middle of Jan is a very long time to wait so you might waste less energy worrying if you called now.....
good luck.....all the best....

When I was dx last year, I was told that I had not had it long that it was aggressive - was dx'd on Friday June 10 and had my surgery on Monday the 13th. baseball size little present was waiting on my surgeon. As for type, I know signet ring cell wasn't mentioned. I know I always get anxious before a scan, no sleeping, always on my mind that sort of thing but I don't think I'm letting my mind go wild. I'm also noticing I'm getting that exhausted feeling again... not noticing nothing new in the poop area but I didn't notice it the first time either!0 -
calling onc
Thank you all, so glad I have you all to lean on when I am trying not to "dwell" . I am going to go ahead and call Dr. Koch tomorrow and get his thoughts and hopefully not have this on my mind next week while our son and wife are home for Christmas!
Again, thank you all!

Common
It's common not to become that way after being diagnosed. Better safe just to call the doctor and see if they can get you to come in for a quick check. Hoping that it's just something simple and it goes away on it's own.

He was out today but I spoke with his nurse today and she is going to talk with him tomorrow. She said may up my CT scan or start with an xray and visit to my family doc. I'm thinking the scan will be moved up. He is very good to not put off a scan if he or the patient has any concerns. Should know something tomorrow.0 -

if I were pessimistic (sp)
...got call back from onc office today. I have an 8am CT scan tomorrow morning. Was advised to call Jana next week for results. Didn't realize scans could be scheduled so quickly! No sleep tonight. Can never sleep night before a scan.
Going to make ham rolls for office party tomorrow and try to get that crazy cat of min in the house, he is breaking his curfew again. That will keep me occupied.0 -

It is good to get a scan. My ONC would not do a scan unless my CEA was up. He usually says pain that goes away in different positions is scar tissue. I haven't gotten constant pain since the tumor in my ascending colon. Hope all is ok!0 -
scan today
hoping for results tomorrow afternoon. The lady who always does my scans told me I should have my results tomorrow, if not, have Jana call and she would get them to her...a little nervous. Paranoid... don't suppose we ever get this past this???0 -
