I did a search and found the manufacturer's web site, which allows you to read it in English. Apparently their original product started as something else but was pulled from the shelves for legal reasons.

The following is from that site:

WOBE-MUCOS E was taken off the market according to legal formalities in September 2005. Since Wobe-Mucos E had demonstrated its medicinal value and had not been taken off the shelves for reasons of quality or effectiveness, when it was removed from the market, the enzyme product supplies for the treatment of cancer were greatly missed. Nonetheless, in December 2000, a nutraceutical (nutrition supplement) with similar immune-system supportive characteristics is put on the market; it is called Wobe-Mucos NEM.

Apparently it is also known as Wobenzym E or Wobenzym N. The difference is in the amount of chymotrypsin contained in the formulas. Apparently Wobenzym E (Wobe Mucos) is much more expensive and has the higher content of chymotrypsin, the supposed active cancer killing enzyme. There is a website that sells it http://www.mucos.cz/eng/, but I have no experience with the company.

Wobenzym N formula contains very little chymotrypsin (if any) as it's focus is to support healthy joints , improves gastrointestinal motility and aids in the healing process from sports injuries. It does this by replacing the enzymes we naturally have in our joints and tissues that we tend to loose as we age. This formula has been used on Germany's top athletes for over 45 years.

I've been taking Wobenzym N for over a year and I can't live without it. It's made all the difference with my back, hips and thumb joint pain from the Xeloda. I do also take low dose Celebrex but that alone didn't touch the pain. Only when I added the Wobenzym did I feel normal again.

My Nat Onc is very good friends with Dr. Herzog in Germany (the one Pete was seeing) and very up to date on all the latest treatments from that part of the world. I think if this Wobe Mucos E version was a significant treatment in killing cancer, he'd be doing it in our clinic. I could be wrong, but I've never heard of it here. I'll ask next time I'm there.

thanks everyone , my daughters wobe mucos nem does come from Germany (can't read the box or instructions),we live in canada and is very expensive.$250. for one month.He switches her supplements around , so maybe now that her surgeries are finished and she started chemo there is a reason for it. would be interested to hear what your onc says.thanks

Been off the air for a while, I have not got a good answer from my doctors here in germany on this. I will try again when I am back in February.

Kind of an interesting and relevant discussion, I am researching digestive enzymes and want to hook up with a clinic on my next visit that specialises in it.

I went to a lecture at the conference recently and Dr Herzog spoke, he sounded authorative, but it was in german, my translator a kind doctor helped me. I have not personally met dr Herzog but I know some patients here who were impressed by Herzog as a doctor, less so about his clinic.

The clinics where I have had treatments are specialised and don't use enzyme therapies I asked.

My apologies Pete...
I thought he was your Dr. in Germany because you were doing the full body hyperthermia. I'm interested to know though, what it was about the Dr.'s clinic that the patients didn't like? Cost? Just curious as I know 2 people who went there and were very impressed but they were not at other clinics in Germany.

How are you doing and how is the hyperthermia going?

doctor 10/10 clinic 5/10 nursing and staff
this is from someone with experience of both clinics.
its just an opinion, i would go there, the full body they do is hardcore.

i got a local hyperthermia friday evening , abdo got cooked to 46 degreees, dr vogel said it gives the chemo embolisation a 5% boost, so for about 400 usd, its worth it.

up up and away, i am in taiwan now and just about to fly to sydney, I will be in the air for 12 hours, and then straight to the nearest hotel. my wife is picking me up, we got some catching up to do.
