Ho, Ho, Ho... checking in

I had my gemzar infusion yesterday and my cisplatin/gemzar last week and have been down for the count. I havn't been able to catch up as yet with all that going on on the board, but wanted to let all know that I doing well. Many of might know that I've been on chemo for the past 3 years for my recurrance. I'm aware that it sounds scary for newbies on this board who, like me thought I'd never get through my original rounds of chemo. I got a wonderful surprise at my last ONC visit... ta, da... my counts dropped to 37!!! That's the lowest I've been in 3 1/2 years. My ONC doesn't have an anwser except to say that this is a very strange disease and I seem to be tolerating my regiment well. I hope this gives us all some extra hope... love you all and as always, thanks so much for being there.
((((HUGS))) Maria
