Update on Best Friend's Husband
Steve came thru his needle biopsy yesterday fine. Still don't have any results yet. There's definitely something there but not sure what. Radiologist told them given his history as a smoker good chance it's cancer but not sure. I told her we're going to hold on to that ray of hope that they're not sure and pray it's not. Thanks for all your prayers and continued ones and will let you know when we know something. Love y'all and God Bless!

I don't see why any MD would say it's a "good chance of being cancer", unless they are positive.
To me that would possibly add unwarranted anxiety, especially if it turns out, not to be cancer.
Hoping for the "it's not cancer" Dx soon Jan.
Best,
John
I agree with john, Doctors should'nt say things like that
until they have the results in front of them. When I met my
ENT and he scoped me he said "It does'nt look good " and I said
" not good like go home and prepare for the worst " which he
replied " No , it LOOKS like cancer so we will order a biopsy
to confirm it "
Anyway Praying all turns out fine with you friend Jan, we're
all in his corner.
God bless

Hopefully this is not cancer and just a false alarm. We had the opposite problem the doctor said if what David had was cancer he would already be dead. Then to find out it was cancer. I would have rather been prepared. I just hope your doctor is wrong like our first one was.0 -

For the doctor to say that?!? My dr told me after my biopsy said that "it looked suspicious but we are going to hope for the best but expect the worst.". I don't think they should say either way until pathology comes back and it's 100% certain.
Well, here's hoping for great results.
