in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Oh, what a wonderful day. Nelson (9 weeks out from chemo/rad) has been having some troublesome symptoms the last month or so. Constant cough, weakness, etc. He had a MRI of the brain and neck yesterday to rule out any neurological damage that may explain the problems. We got the results today that there is no sign of radiation damage. In fact, he has a totally normal MRI. Normal! NO SIGN OF ANY DISEASE!! The cancer is gone. Totally clear. Still working on the symptoms, but the cancer is dead!! Happy Thanksgiving, indeed!!

    I'm delighted that Nelson is NED....another wonderful outcome at a perfect time of year...congratulations!! We've had so many good scans in the last two days...isn't it wonderful??
