Hi! I went today to get the results of my uterine cancer /hysterectomy and was informed that not only do I have uterine cancer but they found stage 1a ovarian cancer. I am only 2 weeks out of surgery and I will be going back in two weeks for more and different biopsies. Then another 9 days if waiting.. i cant handle it!!!

If you have to have
If you have to have cancer 1A is the best to have because that means it that it has not spread anywhere else. I had 1A ovarian cancer last winter. Went into chemo spring and summer. After my sixth chemo was declared NED. No evidence of disease. It is amazing what you can handle when you have too. I felt the same way but got through it OK. -

You have a better stage of ovarian cancer, just take a deep breath you will deal with this. We are here for you.

I'm sure it must have been a blow to find out you have a second cancer but with stage 1a, your prognosis is excellent! Through this journey, I think we've all discovered that we're stronger than we think, and I know you can get through this. As Colleen said, we're all here for you.
Hugs,
Kelly
