Hi
Hi Nempark,
I am very sorry to hear about the Relapse. I suggest also posting on leukemia and lymphoma discussion boards. I find that the boards are more active and perhaps someone has an answer.
All I want to say is don't lose hope and I am sure there are alternatives. Please hang in there. I will include you in my prayers.0 -

Situation looks very grim. But as you said, I will not lose hope. Please let us know how you are doing. I send you an email before so you can write me. Hope all is going well with your treatment.0 -
maybe it helps
Hi Nempark. I am very sorry to about your daughter. We just lost my daughter's friend from AML who was 10 y.o. It was devastating. Sense than I searched an internet a lot about this disease, it seems that chemo can be very harmful and rarely helps.(I might be wrong) Please read about Alkaline, NO Sugar, Raw vegetables diet, vitamin B17, Turmeric and also this: http://www.cancertutor.com/Other/Leukemia.html.
Here is a video about B17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaadzJdc15U
I really hope your daughter will survive.0 -

peacefullyI am so very sorry for your loss.
My 17 year old son passed away Friday. He had been fighting leukemia since he was 11 and had been in remission for 14 months then it relapsed again 1 1/2 years ago and they gave him 2 weeks to live, at the same time I was diagnosed with throat cancer. He was a very special boy and patient. There is a very small group of children,1%, that are allergic to chemotherapy at the DNA level and he was one of that group. The first time he was given chemo it wiped out his liver and was diagnosed with scerrosis of the liver and was given 2 months to live. At the same time I was awarded custody of him and his sister and I immediately changed his poor diet to a healthy diet and his liver started improving. After the 14 months of remission he relapsed and they gave him 2 weeks to live due to his allergic reaction to chemotherapy. My son begged them to give him enough chemo to wipe it out and they said "Mason, the chemo will kill you in 2 weeks" his response was "I'm not doing anything for the next two weeks" and after several meetings with oncologists and GI doctors they granted his last wish. He finished his chemo last December and on the 11th of March we learned it had relapsed again but this time with a vengence. On the 12th he woke up in incredible pain and was ambulanced to the ER and then hospitalized. It went downhill rapidly and he died in my arms Friday night.
I pray that you have good support and family to help you through this time. I have that but the void is huge and very difficult.
Again my heart goes out to you.

My dear Chefdaddy: My heart goes out to you also. I lost my beautiful daughter to this killer disease. The journey is what did it to me and yes, that void. Your dear son, I am so sorry, 17 wow, still a baby. But he is at peace and no longer suffering. What ever age a parent loses a child is devastating. I cry every night before I go to bed and I wake up crying. But I must tell you, you will have your moments but it will get less painful as the time goes by.
It is such an unnatural experience. Your situation is similar to mine. My daughter died in my arms and when she was told that the cancer came back she did exactly like your son. She asked for another chemo but it just took her life anyway.
Please keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. I know that it is really fresh and unreal for you now, but please know that there is a scripture in the Bible that tells us the condition of the dead, and that really comforts me.( Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all. ) This means that your son is no longer suffering and will rise again at the ressurection without any sickness. I am looking forward to this for my daughter.
Oh! they really had a rough journey.
What about you? I also shared the same faith as you, I was dx in 2009, but managed to survive. Take care and I know you will get better as time goes by. I am handling it a litter better.

There is a treatement that is considered "alternative"; please consider looking into http://www.Phoenixtears.ca or http://www.cureyourowncancer.org/. I have been doing a lot of research in this area and have MANY links that I could send you. I know it is hard to believe, and for many they will not consider the posibility of truth in it, but Cannabis Cures Cancer and there is scientific proof to it. Google the "endocannabinoid system" and you will see why this works.

from one mother to another... good luck on this journey.
