Dear Doc, every time I lurk and come on you get yourself in trouble.
I will personally talk to the Man upstairs, this is way to much all just before the Hollidays, enough of that. Get better soon. You have been and will be in my prayers
and thoughts, Hugs, Marjan
aw shucks, Marjan, what can I say but admit that I'm a chronic problem child.0 -
Great Day!
Got some news from the onc today that's going to give me even more to be thankful for! I'm probably going to be going home today, if my potassium level is high enough (it's a tad low, but not too far off.) He's got me scheduled for chemo tomorrow using the picc and my insurance has approved us to start using Zaltrap but not with the Vectibix. The really great thing about that is my skin will start to repair and I'll get my fingers back!0 -

That is just great news Doc, not only the going home part but also about being able to change the Zaltrap.
I hope and pray that this change is the one which will bring you great results.

I guess the FDA has not approved Zaltrap to be used with Vectibix and we want to see if I get better results with the new drug. My CEA has been on the rise and the tumors in the liver are marginally larger than they were in August. Gotta confess, I'm not going to miss the sore and bloody fingers and feet, the sand paper skin and all the other side effects of Vectibix. Now I wish we could replace the iranetecan with something that will let my hair grow out again.0 -

Sheesh.....you just can't seem to catch a break!!! Too bad these infections don't get right into those cancer cells and kill them off....0
