ARE THESE SYMPTOMS ANYTHING TO BE CONCERNED WITH

I had my right Kidney removed and the surrounding lymph nodes in December 2011 and due to financial reasons and doctor leaving the area havent seen any doctors since April. I have been having pain in my back where the kidney would have been and it runs down to the buttocks area which I assume is just something that is normal after having kidney removed. The problems I am having is soreness in my bones and glands. Have found a few knots under my arm but I cant always feel them so maybe nothing to be concerned with. My main issues are extreme pain in my collar bone area and somtimes it hurts through to my back. I am extremely tired and my hip is so painful some days I can barely walk. Just wondering if the kneck, collar bone and muscle aches could mean that the cancer might be spreading?

    Cullum,

The removal of your Kidney AND Lymph nodes suggests something possibly more than a routine nepherectomy which must be followed up. Depending on the size of your tumor there is a more than minimal chance that you will need follow up for RCC particlarly in the first few years. RCC can be a deadly disease if left unchecked. Given your less than perfect diagnosis not following up with your scans etc. is not good.

    So, what's the question?
Cullum, you already know the answer. By the way, denial doesn't work.

    Get it checked...
If it has spread, time is of the essence and you have treatment options. If it is something else you can throw a party, we're here for you either way.

    Sorry you are having
Sorry you are having financial problems. Please seek out another doctor or if need be go to the hospital if you don't have coverage. They cannot refuse you and can take a sonogram, scan, xrays and see what is up. But you must get to a doctor asap. I am hoping the turnout is good, but in any case, you do have options and there are meds currently that can help you, it is not too late. So please go and write back here on this link and let us know how everthing is. We will be waiting to hear from you. Our prayers are with you. xxoo
