Soursop Tea

I live in South Florida and have recently been encouraged by many people to drink tea made from the leaves of the Soursop tree. I did some online research and it promoted as having better results on cancer cells than chemo. Several sites all said the same thing as well as many people I have been talking to.

Its hard to get the leaves as the trees are grown in hot places such as Brazil.

Has anyone else heard of this tea?

Vicki

    There is some scientific
There is some scientific data that soursop has anti-cancer activity, but be careful with it as if you take too much you can get something similar to Parkinson's disease (this is well documented). Another option is ursolic acid, which is found in apple peels and other plants. There are a few scientific studies on ursolic acid, and it has specifically been shown to kill colon cancer cells in vitro (test tube) as well as in vivo (in rats).
