Dear Survivors:
My husband was diagnosed with liver Cancer on the lst week of September. Immediately they told him that he needed to remove 5 tumors from his liver. They set up the surgery for 9-27-2012. Tony was kind of sceptical but he was positive. He had cirrhosis of the liver, diabetes, and hepatitis C. He was always in pain and had alot of leg cramps. He had the surgery and everything was going fine, but the liver started to give out and his kidneys..right away they tried everything possible to help him, He was 51, I am his ex wife who is still in love with him at this point...He knows it,,the Dr. said to call a priest for his last rites. There is no cure for him,,we decide to take him home, at his wishes not to die in the hosptial alone. We took him home on hospice, my beautiful baby daughter of 29yrs. old by my side,,,she fought and got her dad home on a amublance. He asked me to marry him before we left the hospital,,the Deacon who gave him his last rites, married us....we kissed and he was very happy,,,we went home,,he died two days later,,,i was distraught. I kept thinking that maybe the surgery wasnt a good idea...but he was already getting alot of pain and he would say that he was tired, but he didnt want to leave me and my daughter and my grand kids..he was always worried who was going to take care of me,,,God bless you Antonio Moreno the love of my life,,,,you will always be remembered,,he died on the llth of October 2012 at the age of 51....Patricia Moreno your loving wife...
