Hi Chrischrismc said:All done with Rituxan
All done with Rituxan infusions. My last infusion was also a rapid infusion. I will see my doc on Dec 28th and will find out when he will do a scan to see if the rituxan worked. Still feeling fine.

Hi Chris,
I'm happy to hear that you are done with Rituxan, I will be keeping you in my prayers that the medicine works for you like it did for me. I think that this medicine is a walk in the park compared to the other types of chemos. I still have to do two more rounds of Rituxan but so far this medicine got me to remission in a year so I'm extremely thankful to God and to the medical staff that helped me get there. Please keep us updated on your scans...sending you many hugs!
Sincerely,

Rituxan

I started RItuxan in November 2011 with a much more intense regimen - 8 consecutive weeks then once every 8 weeks for 2 years. I will be finished in January 2014 after 22 800 mg doses. The actual infusions are a breeze except possibly the first one. After dose 3 you are pretty much in the clear as far allergic reactions etc. my main side effects are shoulder pains, knee pains and fatigue. I know its the Rituxan because symptoms let up after 6-7 weeks and resume after the next infusion. So go well and just take an iPad or book. It can get boring. Happy to answer any questions.
