Thank you so very much
If anything good can come of this it is that the Michigan Eye Bank called on the day George passed away and asked us if we would consider donating his eyes. I didn't think donation was possible with cancer but they said as long as it is not eye cancer. Then they asked about a bunch of diseases and George had none of them so we gave our ok and his eyes were harvested for transplantation I think the same day or with 24 hours. Giving a gift to someone else eases the pain a little.

Hi Tina
I wanted to chime in and tell you how sorry I am to hear about George. I learned of his death a couple of days ago from another site. You have no idea how this touched me. Both of you have been there with me with my fight. I'm glad to know that he passed with peace and you by his side. Much love to you!

Thank you Tina
You are such an inspiration to everyone. I found it very interesting about donating Georges eyes. I thought with cancer you couldn't donate anything. Thanks. Praying you have a great service. Jeff0 -
Dear Tina
Thank you for sharing this information with us.
During this time of loss and sorrow, there will also be times of relief...that George is no longer suffering. You traveled a very tough road with him through this. Your love and support was obvious in all you posted.
Prayers for you, your daughter and other loved ones as you share wonderful memories of your George.

Dear Tina
The love, support and care that you showed to George during his battle as well as granting sight to someone goes such a long way to tell what a very special person you are. While I'm still a relatively new member on this board, I have come to think of it as a family and I hope that you will continue as our sister to let us know how you're doing.

I'm so sorry to hear about George. I do believe that at times something good can come out of something tragic. I'm glad that George's eyes can be donated so that they can help someone else. I was also under the impression that we were damaged goods, it's nice to know that we can still help others even when we pass away..
My condolences Tina,
