YEA! I am glad everyone is getting their free bracelets. Like I wrote, they aren't fancy, but, they are something you could wear to the hospital, should you have to go. -

Just got out of the hospital. I was very sick from food poisoning. Husband, myself and his son went to a well known restaurant, all 3 of us got sick. According to the restaurant, the reason must have been my stepson breathing on us in the car and transmitting a rota virus .- yeah right! I had collapsed in the hallway, husband called 911, a bunch of burly firemen picked me up under the armpits and dragged me down the hall, me moaning all the way, don't touch my left arm, oh please it hurts so from surgery! By the time I reached the stretcher I had passed out. I wear a steel lymphedema bracelet from the Lymphedema Network, still I had to remind everyone at the hospital over and over and over NOT TO TOUCH MY LEFT ARM. Fortunately I was consious by the time we reached the hospital Emergency. Nurses put a big sign over my bed "no needles, no B/P left arm", which most did not see! I need something neon pink and will order the free bracelet to wear alongside my pretty steel one which looks too much like jewelry.

PS - husband, step-son are doing better and I am on my way, too. I was told the reason I was the sickest of the bunch is because of my compromised immune system
Margaeux, I am not sure that you could wear this bracelet 24/7 as it is just a plastic bracelet, but for free, I was hoping no one was expecting too much. I mainly just got mine to have if or when I might go to the hospital, a planned visit, not an emergency. I still think I will get a medical alert bracelet as hospital personnel should notice that. -

I agree with you Kylez, this bracelet isn't for every day use, but, I am glad that I got it. Thanks again! -
I do not have/had Lymphemea
I do not have/had Lymphemea but DO NOT use my left (surgery))side-would that be something that would benefit me? I tell them over and over-they put sign over my bed for same day surgery etc but at times they still have tried to use my left arm....
I'll check out the site...it stated if at RISK...so I ORDERED one for myself...
Thanks for the info
thanks
Denise

I ordered and got mine. Idesertgirl947 said:Not sure about this, as I
Not sure about this, as I ordered one last fall when you posted this here. Nothing has come. I have, recently, tried again, and so maybe this time it will come. Not enough weeks have passed yet for me to think that they aren't sending one my way.
I ordered and got mine. I got two of them. It took a few weeks, but, I got them. I miss you Kylez and so many of the others that used to be here. I was happy to see your name again. You were one of the ones that helped me so much when I first came on.
