Is anybody in remission taking Tamoxifen as a maintenance drug?

I was diagnosed in December 2011 with stage 4 primary peritoneal. I had a 5 1/2 hour surgery to remove the disease. They were able to get all but 10%. I have had 9 chemo treatments Carboplatins and Taxol. As of August 2012 I am in remission. My CA 125 test at my 8th chemo was 55 which I started out with them being 1500. I just had them checked again last week and they are 47.5. I am scheduled to have them done again the last of November along with a CT scan. My doctor has put me on Tamoxifen 20 mg as a maintenance drug. I can't seem to talk with anyone that has been on this for Primary Peritoneal. What side effects has anyone had from this drug? Does it effect your taste buds, rash on your skin, bone pain, constipation, fatigue, numbness in hands and feet(which I already had from the other drugs but it has gotten worse instead of better) etc.????
Also has anyone developed a hernia from their surgery? I did and now I have to have surgery that when I get physcially able to do so.
