My Mom Passed Away

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you all know the sudden and devestating update about my mom. She passed away yesterday morning. I found her on her bed, slumped over. I was home with her and had just spoken to her about an hour prior to finding her. My sister had called and talked to her as well. We do not know the cause of death, and since my mom did not want an autopsy, we may never know. She had been doing good and as I told you all her first PET Scan results showed that the mass that was in her neck was gone. It also showed a small spot on her liver, which she was scheduled to have a biopsy for tomorrow. For the short time that I've been on here, I really appreciate the support and kind words. My mom appreciated it as well.

    And your family. Loss of a parent is so hard. I lost my dad when I was in my late 20s. You cannot overcome the sadness right now but try to focus on the many good memories and know that she cherished the love and care you gave to her.

    Prayers for strength to get you through these tough days.

    I am so sorry to hear the news of your mother's passing. There is nothing I can say to make it better, but I will pray for your family.

    So shocking and sad about your mother. I only know of your mother and you through this forum but I am so upset and feel so bad for you. I know how much it hurts to lose a mother. I am sending you my condolences and prayers.

    you Erica and your family. We are sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Diane and I have both lost our mothers and fathers and its tough, but as others have said, No more Sadness No more Sorrow, she is at peace now. God Bless you all.

    Thank you all for your kind words. She had been doing good which is why this came as such a chock. I think she had a reaction to some medicine, because she was very swollen and extremely drowsy in the week leading up to this. My sister and I thougt the affects had began to wear off and as stated, we don't know what happened in the hour after I last spoke to her. Once again, thank you all.

    So very sorry to hear of your loss. I have experienced no other pain as bad as the pain of losing my mother. I hope that at some later time, you can draw some comfort from the knowledge that you were able to be such a help to her during her time of need.

    Heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. We could feel the love you have for your Mother and there is no doubt that she felt it too. She was blessed with a wonderful daughter. Continue to live your life in the way she would like.
