I agree. Keep up the fight.
You will need more test results for any conclusive response.
Congratulations for the success.

I do not know much about your case but I hope that your dream comes true.
Wishing you complete recovery from the treatment and total remission from the disease.

VGHELLO ALL & WISHING THE BEST
I JUST received my PSA results today & was very surprised & delighted.... I now have A pSA of 0.15ng/ml since I switched from FIRMAGON TO ELIGARD on DECEMBER 27,2012 > it went from 0.30 to 0.27 to 0.20 & now 0.15. I'm close to zero but not there yet, I see the urologist this coming FRIDAY the 30th. Don't know what he will tell me but I'm happy at the downward trend.
WISHING & praying the best for everyone affected by this terrible disease.

Radiation,
Did you switch because it quit workinG, or because of side effects?

Plain Zero?
RadHope
Congrats for the good results.
I am glad to see you so happy. Please do not fall in the PSA anxiety trap.
What is the PSA level that you want the "Zero" to be?
A plain zero made up of zeros is impossible to reach by Guys with the prostate in place. Lupron may cause castration levels (low T) but the drug does not affect directly all the "natural" PSA serum produced daily by the benign prostatic cells (your case, I believe). A fewer number of those may become “dormant" for the lack of T but a fewer others will continue its activity feeding on other androgens. We also should recall that the "normal" PSA levels in natural circumstances differ among men and by their age. A 60 years old could have a PSA of 3.0 ng/ml, much higher than the number you got in your last test, and still be considered as his Zero level. You need to define the "number" by yourself, though, do not be so “greedy”.
Best wishes for continuous improvement.

Despite the low PSA Numbers(0.15) the urologist gave me another ELIGARD shot ysterday--reasoning was the PSA is going down so we should keep giving the shots until THE pSA is zero or undetectable.
