Hi Alexandra - How are you doing? I haven't seen you post since the day you got home after your hysteretomy. How is it going? Will you be haveing chemo again?

Thinking of you. Hope all is well...

    Hello Eileen,
Sorry for the late reply. I took a little break from the board.
I was doing fine after hysterectomy and had IP port inserted in a seperate 2-hour-long surgery. Unfortunately both incisions popped and were not healing. So now I am going every 2 days to have them packed.
Because of the open wound my IP port was declared unusable and now I am continuing chemo through IV.
I was having dreaded menopausal effects (night sweats, dryness, etc). Now I am taking Premarin (estrogen) and Calcium with vitamin D. Too early to tell if it's working.
My CA125 is 8. Two more chemos - and back to work in January. Can't wait. So sick of being sick.

How are you doing? Did you get rid of neuropathy?
My email is kalner@sympatico.ca if you want to talk directly.
