Colorectal cancer with mets to liver

Would like to know survival years with this cancer. My husband was diagnosed in July 2010 and is now on trial drug. He has had bowel resection and resection of liver, but tumours came back. Surgery not an option.

    If imnot being too forward. Can i ask how is ur husband doing now? my husband also has Rectal cancer stage 4 with mets to the liver rthey have told us surgery is not an option he will start chemo soon but they havent completely ruled out surgery i guess it depends on how he handles the chemo and if the chemo shrinks and does wonders so we are praying for things to turn out good for us.
