Hey Aaron,
How are things going? Did you go for round 7 yesterday?
I had quite the day. My pick line wouldn't return blood so I had to get Altaplased again.
That took an hour. I was scheduled for chemo at 10. Got a call at one that my count was too low again, but doctor said I could to Neupogen and so got chemo at about 2:30.
I start the Neupogen on Friday for five days. So, happy to say that I wasn't sidelined again.

How are you doing my friend? Did you have any ill effects from the Neupogen?

    I'm on the bench
    Hi y'all, it seems I went and got a nasty case of bronchitis , it seems all I've done is cough and fight a fever sence Friday. Me and the doc decided to try to knock this stuff out once and for all before starting the second half so I've got a week off. I really just want to do my last six infusions on time and get it behind me. I'm on an anti viral med wich I believe is working and she gave me 5 days of prednisone and some serious cough syrup to get this ridiculous cough under control. It seems everything is improving so I should be good to go come Tuesday. I'm glad to hear your staying on schedule and hanging tough with your treatments Sharlene. I'm here and I'll write back, I promise.

    Hey Aaron,
    Sorry to hear that you are benched again! They almost had me sit out too because of my low counts but I was pushing to stay on track and thankfully my extended medical will cover all of the Neupogen shots. My counts are getting lower each time, so I figured better to get the shots and get the counts up, especially with flu season right around the corner!
    I sure hope that you are feeling better soon! Keep us posted.
