I am sorry
for what you are going through, Debbie. By lesion do you mean tumor? I googled it because to me a lesion is a cut or injury. I found it is a term sometimes used by doctors instead of tumor. I myself recurred with a tumor near my liver. I wish you the best and hope the test indicates something not too serious.

since 7/13/2012. The doctor asked if I wanted to have a monthly CA 125 and I said yes. The results so far have been amazing. I'll list them:
7/13/2012......115 (day I started medication)
Aug/2012........67
Sept/2012.......29
I am waiting for this month's result. I have minimal side effects from the medication, mainly a couple of hot flashes each day. More if the weather is hot, I am cooking or moving around a lot. Small price to pay since it seems to be working so well.
Of course I told my family when the CA 125 first rose in April. I had another CA 125 in June which rose again and then a petscan that verified my recurrence. In April I was very upset because the dream of "cure" was gone but for some strange reason it got easier to accept each crappy result. I guess I had a gut feeling it was back even though my doctors said the CA 125 might go back down. Once it started to rise I knew it wasn't good. So acceptance started and because I feel great it is easier to go about my life. I don't feel like I have cancer. I need to be grateful and enjoy this time.
My best to you, Debbie.

It's so hard to wait for a test and then for the results. I'm sending lots of prayers your way that the test results will be good. Please keep us posted.
