Need to distance myself
She suggests I try to distance myself somewhat from cancer related sites.
I will still be around but not as often if I can succeed at this task.
Thank you all for your info and responses to my posts. I hope the time I will be allowing myself will be enough for both you and me..
My reason for this is 2 fold.. I can't really change my job with bring me in contact constantly with Cancer research.. and the one activity I really do enjoy is the work I do with Relay for Life. so the the things I am willing to separate from is the lurking and participation I have in discussion boards..
Cya all around..
If you want to follow me in FaceBook you can find me there as Donna Juliano, Parsippany, NJ
I post alot of motivational stuff there so if you need that and I think we all do from time to time I think you will enjoy following me there..
Love you all...
Donna

Thanks for not just disappearing...we would have worried . Please do take good care of yourself. This journey requires different responses from us at different times and we need to do 'whatever' to keep ourselves healthy and whole. You will be missed. Be gentle with yourself.

Take care of yourself first. Only you can decide what is right for you and what you. We will miss you...but we all understand.

Donna, no doubt you have to do what is best for you. I think about you every day. I missed your posts, and knew something was going on
but you have to make adjustments to keep your environment the most positive as possible.
I am probably the only person not on Facebook, would love to follow you there.
Check in when you can.
Luv you.0 -
You are inspiring
I loved your posts. I also totally get it. Stop in if/when you can. We all have to find a way to manage this cancer thing so we can continue to live. All the best to you.0 -

Peace to you Donna. You are so sweet for letting us know. It sounds like your counselor has helped you come up with some good decisions. I hope all good things for you.

Understand
It is very understandable for you to do this. Usually at the beginning of the year I'm off of the board for several months just to take a breather however I'm still lurking now and then when I'm off. Hoping that things will be going well for you and you will be missed but welcome back with smiles anytime.
