Liver mets and high dose radiation

Hi all: Has anyone out there experienced high dose aggressive radiation for liver mets? I have had pretty aggressive chemo for two years - the folfirinox chemo (oxaliplatin + irenotecan + 5FU) worked but now I have a colostomy (perforated bowel) and chemo is out, at least for awhile. The radiation starts next week and will be administered every 2nd day for 2 weeks. As the specialist says, it will either cure me or kill me. My tumour is about 2 inches wide in sector 4b.
Any experience with this out there?
