Following Denise
I have not been on this board for a long time. One of those people who just disappears. But I do follow all of you and care about you all. Most of all I am very worried about Denise. And I want to help. I just left a voice mail message with the BMT Patient Co-Ordinator, Pamel Bunner, (304) 598-4511. I told her about Denise, Kim and that there probably is 1000 people who care and are worried about her here on the CSN. Maybe she will take pity on me and call back, I sure hope so. I let her know that I was calling from the West Coast also. My message was so long I had to do it in 2 phone calls so lets hope that doesn't get her mad.
If this doesn't work the name of the doctor who's trial it is Mehdj. Denise was participating in a Phase 2 trial #BMTCTN-0701 I believe.
I sure hope this helps. It's truely inspirational how all of you can so love someone you don't even know. Cancer is a really bonder isn't it?
As for me I am still in remission, yeah. It will be 3 years since I finished RCHOP this coming March. My last PET in July was clear. My Onc says 2 more years and they will consider me cured. Sure hope that is true.
Thanks everyone, you do good work.
Blessings,
Leslie

Oops, the primary investigator on the trail is Mehdj Hamadani. I only gave the first name above. I don't know if that is her doctor but I think he may be. Hope it helps.

Leslie,
that is one of the names they asked me if was her Dr. I told them I did not know who her Dr. was,but I knew she was in a trial SCT. They said knowing the Dr. name would help some. If you hear anything let us know. Thanks for helping. John0 -

Leslie, John, Sue, and All,
How beautiful that you all are doing all of this work to try to get an answer about our Denise. Maybe eventually we will get an answer of some sort with enough of us calling.
I am in tears because of your actions and caring. You're right Leslie, Cancer is a bonder. I HATE that we have found ourselves on this site but if we had to be on one we are truly blessed to have people like all of you to share with.
Prayers for Denise and her daughter. And for all of us.
God Bless,

It is hard to believe we have a family in the North,East ,West ,South and even across the ocean. Seems like we have known each other forever. The real hard part is not one of us has ever met personally. Feel as though I know people on here better than my next door neighbor ( even you Jim...LOL). Even though my next door neighbor is 1/2 mile away you know what I mean. John0
