Waiting Room Friends

Its been a while since I've posted but I just wanted to say Hello and shed some light on this journey that we all know so well. I recently got back from MD Anderson and received great news I was very happy and continue to feel blessed that I have a wonderful support system between my family and friends. I also got a blessing in meeting Liz, who by the way advised me on going to MD Anderson, thank you so much. It was such a pleasure to meet and talk to you, I really hate going but after talking to you I really felt more calm and not so alone. I looked for you too at Dr. Eng's office but I must of missed you. I didn't have to wait too long they got me in and out. Its weird, I've met 2 people with anal cancer from this site, Sephie I met last year which was also a chance meeting. We were just sitting across from each other waiting and started talking. Both you ladies really helped my time at MD Anderson while I waited for all those yicky tests and probes. Sometimes God puts people in time and places for a reason, may it be for hope or strength in another's being or just sharing a moment of understanding. It truly was an uplifting conversation with both of you, I wasn't alone and I felt so understood. Maybe I'll see you guys in March. Take Care.

I love it!
It is so great to meet people in person who we've come to know through this site and others. I just returned from California and got to meet two survivors from a blog I'm on. It was so awesome! I'm so glad you got to meet Liz--she's great and I don't know what I would do without her encouragement!0
