Update for my Mom, Denise

Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. As of right now my mom is still heavily sedated and is on the ventilator. They are getting secretion out of her lungs though, that's good. Also they are talking about trying to stop sedation and pull the tube out and see if she can breathe on her own. The doctors are not telling us much more than that. My brother and I were supposed to meet and speak with the transplant team, but they never showed up for our meeting. I am praying very hard and I know she's going to be okay. But again, thanks for your prayers. I will keep you all updated.

Update
Kim,
Thank you for the update and yes it is par for the course for the team to not show up. There is no excuse for that. It is scary when you realize you have a bunch of idiots working for you. these are the people that you rely on.I could go on about that, but I won't. Its much more important now that your mother gets better. The fluid coming out is a good sign and hopefully tomorrow she will be a little better. It takes time to recover from pneumonia. Again, thanks for the update. Post any time you want. Somebody will get back to you. We are all here for you and your mother and the rest of your family. John0 -
