Any decision yet Kat? Imom62 said:Kat
It's good to hear from you after your back surgery. I'm sorry this has not concluded with good news for you. Hardships in life are never easy, even for us older folks. My only suggestion to you is to remember you are living with cancer. It may be terminal but to what time end we don't know. I say choose life and live it to the fullest, take charge of treatment you want. Make sure it goes with your plan for your quality of life. I agree you should not have to be thinking about any of this. I will continue to pray for a cure for you. You are a free spirit full of life and you should not stop living it because of your diagnosis. If I could take all your pain away and put it on me I would, honestly. You are a beautiful person inside and out and deserve to live a long healthy life. Praying for you.
((hugs)
Terry

I cried reading your post but I prayed harder to God that you will get better and to give you more strength and for Him to walk with you hand in hand.
Kat, I hope that you've made your decision and whatever it is, we will all be here supporting you.
Hugs and lots more prayers,

I know whatever path you24242 said:Kat
I too am very sorry for your news and know that you are close to many of our hearts let alone our souls. At stage 3 and with cancer I had I know what it means to be scared and sometimes just knowing what you have control over and what you do not can help make decisions with a little clearer of a conscience. But know this is something you have to do for yourself and that too helps to make better decisions.
You are so young, so beautiful and I am sorry you carry the burden of the others because you should not. You now have to worry about you alone and that sometimes is the hardest thing to do.
I am glad you have this site to lay all you feel because I do know one thing more than anything we all need to let so much go and if not sharing with those closest to us we need to lay it all somewhere and it doesn't get any better than this.
BE good to yourself always and be that best friend to yourself first...
Tara

I am really sad to hear all that is going on with you. Someone your age should not have to be dealing with all of this. Please try not to give up. Live your life to the fullest every day. I will keep you in my thoughts and send out positive energy to help you through the pain.
Hugs,
Georgia

Dear Kat, My heart aches for you but I so admire what a wonderful woman you are. You're so inspiring to the rest of us. I think that all of us here have at one time or the other wondered what is the right path for us to take. At some point we might have to make the decision to go forward with treatment or live our life with as much joy as we can pack in. God does have a plan for each of us but we don't always know which way He'll take us but He will direct us in the right path. You're so special to us and God. He hasn't forgotten you and He will never leave you. You are in my prayers as well as all of those here on this board. Please believe and know how much you are loved here. Your light is shining so brightly each and every day to all those who come in contact with you. Much love!0 -
