YUCK! Cistplatin!

in Ovarian Cancer #1
This Cistplatin is so nasty. I'm going back to the clinic for fluids and anti nausea meds each day this week. I was sick twice yesterday, including at 10:00 last night. My appetite is good, and for the most part, food tastes good to me. Now the fatigue is setting in. Oh well....Just wanted to whine and vent to those who understand.

    Evil Cisplatin
    I'm on Cisplatin now and it is "the evil chemo" I suffered with vomitting, nausea, ringing and deafness in my ears. Everything you said is the same for me. BUT I am sticking with it because it brought my numbers down after the first one from 900 to 420. Please let us know your numbers when you get the results. Take care Tina xx

    Yeah
    cisplatin is tough. It put me in the hospital twice but it works so what can we do?

    Cisplatin is rough but it works. It sent me to the hospital after my first treatment because I passed out and hit my head. Turns out I was dehydrated and that was the day after I got two liters of fluid at the infsion room and was drinking fluids at home. Drink Drink Drink... I had blood pressure problems too. Everytime I would stand up it would drop really low. That stopped by the time I got to the 3rd treatment.

    Are you doning the intraperatoneal chemo?
