AML Low WBC's after a couple of years ?
Hi, I had a question for anyone out there who has had AML Leukemia and been in remission for a little while. My wife was diagonsed with AML M5 in Dec 2010 and went thru her induction and 3 rounds of consolidations from Jan-Aug 2011. She went into remission right after her induction in Dec 2010. She feels good now. She goes and gets tested every 3 months but we notice that her White Blood Cells always flag at boderline low between 3.5-4.1 in the last year. Does anyone else experience that? Is it normal for your WBC not to fully return to normal? Anyone who has been thru this and give advice I would appreciate it.
