I just wanted to let you guys know about a great organization that provides free scarves if you or a loved one is experiencing loss or thinning of hair as a result of illness or treatment.
The scarves are made from soft, silky, breathable fabrics and they have various designs to choose from. Just a heads up, it took a few months before it finally came in the mail.
Here is the link: http://www.goodwishesscarves.org/good_wishes_scarves.php
I also wrote about the scarf my mom got on my blog:

Thank you. My lond dark
Thank you. My lond dark hair is really starting to thin on Folfox. I am only on treatment number 4 and it feels like I have lost about 1/2 my hair already... It comes out in big clumps when I wash it or brush it. I am think about cutting it a little shorter....but a wrap might help. They had told me that my hair would thin a little but that I would not lose it all. Still too early to tell.
