Is ther a link between uterine and colon cancer if there's no Lynch or hnpcc syndrome?

I ask because the gastroenterologist wanted to do a colonoscopy, in part, because of the uterine cancer. I do not have Lynch Syndrome which seems to be closely tied to uterine and colon cancer. I had a colonoscopy about 5 years ago and it was fine.
I started the prep this week and couldn't Hold it down. The doctor said I would need to reschedule it and he'd provide anti nausea meds this time. I don't think that will help because now I associate the prep with vomiting. Is there an easier prep?
Anyway, I don't know that a colonoscopy is really necessary at this point. I had some bleeding but I'm pretty sure it was hemerrhoids.
Thanks.
