I haven't had cancer yet, but I will at some point in my life if my treatment stops working because I have Gardner's Syndrome. I was diagnosed with the syndrome when I was 14 and could have had surgery to prevent cancer. But my family chose medication treatment to see if I could live a "normal" life while I was still in high school. Since I started my treatment, my illness has been in remission for 7 years, I graduated from high school, and am about to graduate from college (while I'm still in remission!). I recently have started sharing my story. So far I have a blog, and have started to write a book about my experiences.
