I have tried them
Sea cucumber is in the Animalia family, so no you can't be vegan if you eat them. They are very healthy and the Asians cook them in soups or stir fries with mushrooms and water chesnuts. They are big fat slimy sea slugs. I didnt like them due to the gelatinous texture after cooking. I wouldn't think you would want to try them in a smoothie.
OooOh wheat grass and sea cucumber! Yuck. Have you tried sea weed salad with rice vinegar and ginger. That is pretty good!0 -

Can you serve them up like calamari....seriously, you've now got me curious and I'm gonna do a google...if I find any good recipies I'll send them to you. Have you ever been to an asian market and all the live snails are climbing out of the baskets, what do people do with those??? Black chickens too, frozen black chicken meat seems to be a hot seller.0 -

wish me luck
I am drinking my combo super smoothie with gcmaf and sea cucumber now.
if i stop posting, its not the ingredients thats dangerous, its the combination.
its been nice sharing the journey with you all.
if on the other hand i make to another sunrise, it will be a great day for us all.
i wonder if this one is the cure.
i have my pet booked for friday orning, its been six months since i was petted.
hugs,
Pete
ps the lumpy bit of sea cucumber are a bit difficult to shallow, i need my new high speed blender. i did not wanrt to cook the cucumber, in case some of the magical ingredients are lost. the sea cucumber jelly product is frozen. so i thought i would use the natural ingredient in a similar state. of course i have no idea if this will help, hurt or make no difference. but it seemed like fun at the time.
when i get the ok from the research papers i will put the links here. pm me if you cannot wait.0 -

LOL. Jajajajajaja.
i love you mate, i am down. I am mad in a couple of ways at least.
mad = medical alternative doctor ie i just tried to register madpete@gmail its gone. damm!
i was dumped by my alternative doctor today, i am to radical for him. he got me onto gcmaf and alkaline water and his advice re colonics was spot on. i did not see it coming, walked into the consult and to cut along story short. your dumped and words to the effect cancer patients are too much trouble and don't have enough money. so i am grateful for his care and advice to this point, he was the best in some ways in town.
a bit nervous about pet in 8 hours, say a prayer pepe. clear would be nice.

sea cucumbers
Hi pete,
I take sea cucumber extract in a pill form. If I understand correctly it helps block the channels that lead to tumor growth. I hope using actual sea cucumbers works for you. I love hearing about people willing to try new things and still did the conventional thing too. I think ( just my personal opinion NOT medical advice) that an integrative approach is best. I just read an interesting article on the problems with chemo and colon cancer. Each chemo only attacks one pathway that the tumors use to grow. That is why multiple regimins are common with colon cancer treatment. They are trying to block as many pathways as possible. The trouble is they can't get them all and that is why there is no specific cure. People get a remission because one pathway is blocked but they recurr because this cancer is smart and finds another way to spread. That is why I do the extras too. If cimetedine, celebrex, and things like sea cucumber block additional pathways then I think we have more of a chance to beat this thing. My Doctor would argue that some of the extras like anti-oxidants may hinder chemo. My argument back is chemo is not considered curative in stage 4 so why not try the extras. If the chemo will eventualy stop working on its own then who cares what extras I try. Besides the extras make me feel great. I can work, exercise, go on vacations, enjoy my family and kids all while doing Folfiri and Avastin. Quality of life is very important and from what I have read it looks like you also have a good quality of life. Good Luck to you! I hope the sea cucumbers help!0 -

When I slurp my super sea slug smoothie I will think of your positive reply which echoes ny beliefs
The toast is simply to good health and smile and a hug.
Us alt seeking patience need support.
I get hassled by many doctors, put down here and criticised.
I hope we find a path that works for us, that others may follow.
Hugs,
Pete
Ps pm me your email and I will forward the research papers about this sea slug supplement0
