LEEP procedure - what to expect post surgery??

Hi all, I have a peep procedure next Wednesday to remove some high grade per-cancerous cervical cells. Therefore, I'm hoping that someone can give me some insight as to what I'll experience post surgery. As in, will I have a lot of pain afterward, and, if so , how long does it last? Should I take a couple of days off of work? Any info would be appreciated.
