Hello Everyone
Thank you for all being here for me. I am new to the BC site, but not the CSN site. I was a caregiver
for my dad who lost his battle with EC in March 2010. My MIL was just dx with stage 1. She is told
it is a small mass. This week she is having a scan done to see if the cancer has spread to any
other organs. After this scan she is told she will have surgery to remove this small mass, and then have radiation treatment 5 days a week for 8 weeks. She lives in NJ, we are in VA. She has a great
attitude, a great support team of friends and members from her church. She loves the drs, nurses, and facility she is going to. These are all wonderful things to have! We have told her to please
keep up this positive outlook, it will help you tremendously with this journey.
I am asking for your prayers and support for her, me and our family at this time.
Thank You!

I recognized you
Hi, Tina,
I recognized you from the EC board. I am so sorry to hear about your MIL's diagnosis. It sounds like she does have so much going for her with her good attitude and support network. She and you and your family will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers. There are so many wonderful people on this board. If you have any questions, they will be well answered by many voices of experience. I know you were a wonderful caregiver for your dad and still contribute on the EC board. Your Mil is fortunate to have you in her corner.
