Has anyone here tried to raise money for their loved one while they're going through cancer and its treatments? I set up a site for my mom and wanted to know if anyone has had any success with fundraising, and if so how can I go about trying to raise more money for my mom's medical expenses?

Welcome to you and your mom. I would suggest that you go to your church, if you have one, and arrange to have some kind of a fund raiser. You can have a bake sale, yard sale, car wash, etc. You can also contact the American Cancer Society. They are most helpful. ACS donated a $125 gas card to us when I
was taking my dad for his treatment for esophageal cancer. Ask and you shall receive!

Hello!
Several different people in our community have had fundraisers for my husband. They came and ask could they do a plate sale twice, a poker run/auction/raffle as well. Talk to people in your community including family and see if they will organize something.
