I'm back...brain mets--again, 4th time !!

Well alot of stuff on this board.....alittle too much for my reponse although I am well aware of everyones troubles and you are in my prayers!

I have brain mets for the 4 time..surgery is out as I as recovering from the 65 staples already done! Raido surgery is my best bet....although surgery and radial surgery were not all inclusive before!

Love ya....all is good! it's only been 2 months since earlier brain mets--oh well !!

    Im sorry to hear of the return of the brain mets.I am an icu nurse, and I can't help but think of all that you have been through and how strong you must be physically and mentally. I am hopeful that the radio-surgery will be successful. I hear of many positive results up here at the Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland.

    I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

    I echo the sentiments of the others. Just said a prayer that this treatment works and that you give G over at Inspire a run for his record. He is pushing 14 with 2 rounds so you have to go past that.

    Only two mets at a time...for a total of 8 I guess, so Inspire "G" has me beat so far!!!

    The Docs are battling whether I do Surgery or Radiation. I think the Sterotatc Radiation (gamma knife) is in store ! it's cancer on one side, radiation scar tissue on the other...etc.......tough decision for them (and I am leaving it up to them with my consent), I will go with either direction!!

    I feel pretty good though, docs are amazed a bit that it did not stop along the way to the brain !!!

    How is Denny C? I have been thinking about you all and him as well?

    Best wishes to you all!!! I have little $$ but I am going to Fla again with the family!!

    It is amazing how little we want or need these days!!
