I am asking for the pink bus ladies

I have a new onco appt. on the 28th early at 7am I hope he listens to me and helps with the side effects that I have been having, Saw my new pcp yesterday he found two lumps on my thyroid going for an unltrasound and mammogram on the 30th of august. The unltrasound scares me abit. Forgive the spelling I think its off. I have been crying abit of flashback in dealing with the surgoen i dealt with which he was god and didn`t matter, I matter.This makes the second mammo after sugery i passed the first one and I know I will pass the second one with flying colors.I hope the new doc will put me back on the brand name I did have the se which I have now Cant sleep, upset tummy, huge weight gain , Not diet related I dont eat a 1000 cals aday . I should be this weight I excerise also it doesn`t move down I just gain more.

    yikes!
    You didn't mention your age but lumps and bumps on the thyroid as we age is "normal" or at least a lot of us get them. I had benign nodules on mine, had an US and biopsy and all was fine. I ended up getting half my thyroid removed but it was really my decision because I had a fluid filled cyst and it was a big ugly lump on my neck. I had the insurance and the sick time so I had it removed.

    Hurray for the clean mammo! Now this bunch of party goers can climb on the bus with you. I'm bringing margaritas!

    Hey JerseyGirl
    where abouts in Jersey are you??? I live in Middlesex County NJ.

    I've been in your shoes regarding the thyroid issue. The one thing I learned about thyroids is...IF it's cancer, it is curable. My thyroid has 2 lumps too and my doc doesn't seem to worry at all.

    Good luck with the mammo. I hate having that done. Ouchies!
