Hi all. I am just checking in. I was dxd in July 09 with stage 4. I am 2 yrs and 4 mths clear so far.
I am so upset about Jennie, just cant believe it.

    I wanted to see your history
    I wanted to see your history i.e. but there wasn't any. Would you mind sharing more of your stage lv history? It helps so much to see others that are same stage doing so well. :)

    my history
    I was dxd july 2009 after a colonoscopy ( had sm amt of blood in stool), at age 38; I had a Cat scan and I had mets to Liver. Had a colon resection the following week. They removed 12 inches of sigmoid colon. About a month later they placed a port in and I started Chemo --5fu with leukavorin and Avanstin. I went to MD Anderson and Miami and they told me I did not qualify for a liver resection. They told me I would be on chemo for life. I went to Tampa- Moffitt Cancer Center, and tehy did Theraspheres on me. They put tiny glass radioactive beads in my liver (right lobe). That was November 2009. Within 4 months I qualified for a liver resection and had that in April 2010 followed by 6 rounds of chemo. I have been clear every since.
