Thinking of you

Hello Dearhearts

I am sure you all are sleeping peacefully in your warm comfy beds, just not me.
I have so much trouble sleeping right now, I am beyond tired. Even nightowls need some sleep...

I have been thinking of you and how special each one of you truly are. I wanted to just let you know that.

I hope that everyone has a lovely weekend.

(((Hugs)))
Lisha

    You too
    Hi Sweetie,

Thank you for your kind words about all of us. When I go to sleep at night, I always have
the radio on. I listen to talk shows, and drift off. Not sure if that would be ok
    with your hubby?

Love, prayers and everything positive your way. Love Maggie

    Hey Lisha :)
I'm at my niece's this weekend so not much access to computer.
I'm sorry you are not sleeping well. I often have the TV on - usually
try to watch a documentary or something that usually lulls me to sleep.
Bad thing is sometimes I forget to set the sleep timer and wake up in the
wee hours to loud informercials. The least favorite is the one
with that greasy haired guy selling colon detox/cleanse :).

Anyway, I hope you get to feeling better and sleep better also.

    Hugs,

    Jim

    Sleep

    Lisha,

I have worked odd hours, or third shift, most of my post-Navy career. I leave a floor fan running on high. The nosie is an unchanging drone, and helps me a lot. Sort of like being in the back of a C-130.

It sounds like you are to the point of needing a perscription-strength sleep aid. It is as if you were hemmoraging, and refused a band aid. Take something !

My one and only combination therapy was r-abvd, and as I have mentioned, there is no "up" time with that stuff; no Pednisone or anything like it. I slept 18 hours or more a day, the exact opposite of your problem. I know: None of this makes sense !

Loving you with everyone else here,

    max

    So sorry...
    Hi Lisha,
Well...we are home from vacation, so if you need someone to talk to when you can't sleep, just give me a call. The week I had to take the prednisone with each treatment I think I might of gotten 10 hours sleep over that 5 day period. I'm also a night owl, but I remember sitting and crying at 3 or 4 in the morning just begging for sleep to come! I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm here for you...Love...Sue

    Hi Sweet Lisha
    Hi Sweetie,
I had written another post but it disappeared???
Thank you for always thinking of everybody else! Have you tried to drink any teas that can relax you? I haven't been sleeping good either waking up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep! I'm very worried for my hubby he had been working in a building doing some electrical work for 3wks but the building was full of asbestos!!! Now Osha wants to take my hubby boss to court or something because he shouldn't have made him work under those conditions and my hubby is worried that he can lose his job! I'm worried that he can get sick or worse the big C...now I'm just thinking and praying that nothing bad happens to him! Thank you for always being there for me! Sending you lots of HUGE HUGS!!!

    Sincerely,
    Liz
