Victory for Cisplatin

Well after my moaning about the side effects of Cisplatin I have had an amazing result. My CA125 was around 900 before and after only 1 treatment it has dropped to 342. I don't think its been as low as that for well over a year. Plus results from my recent CT scan shows all cells, soft tissue tumour and fluid have all shrunk.
I reported to my Oncologist about my terrible vomitting and nausea and she has given me a stronger anti-sickness table. I think its called Prepitant. You take one an hour before chemo and then one on day 2 & day 3. So I am hoping they work for me next time.

Just checked in while having a marvellous holiday to see your great news. So thrilled for you! Hoping the anti nausea meds are helping too.

My next chemo has been delayed as I went on holiday. It will be another week before I can have my next infusion. At the moment I am feeling really good - no nausea
Cos my cancer has shrunk I have been able to introduce fibre back into my diet. I am really enjoying my life at the moment.
Much love to everyone xxxxxx
