Hi ditto1,
Seems like yesterday you were learning to fly, now look at you. Congratulations and the best of luck as you continue on your journey. Remember the Silver Sulfadiazine Cream works great for neck burns. I also went through the Erbitux and radiation (how’s the rash).
Now I have a reason to ring my bell tomorrow morning.
Best,
Matt -
Oh Mr. Ditto.....I am SO SO happy
for you and Diane!! Isn't it an amazing feeling to be looking at the very last time you ever have to don the mask...that instead, tomorrow you'll be carrying it out of there under your arm...never to be worn again!?
It's also wonderful that you have your last chemo right on the tail end, so you can begin to heal in earnest when you recover from that.
We've ridden this bus together for months now, do you suppose it will continue to tour once we are all done, and take us to our favorite restaurants?
You have accomplished a significant feat, you know. I think back on the whole mask thing, getting from point A to point B took so much courage...
Get your dancing shoes on, I'm gonna dance you around the kitchen tomorrow.

ditto1,
This is such good news. You have been such a trooper through all of it ! Ring that bell with pride and a huge smile ! Congrads ! Katie
We haven't chatted much as I'm relatively new to this site but i am so happy for you! I had my last day 7weeks ago tomorrow. Ring that bell with everything you have in you! My husband actually bought me a bell too to hang on my wall at home and it's called "billies Bell" we now ring it on special occasions. You can bet at 10:50 tomorrow morning my time (California) I'll be ringing my bell for you.
Good luck and happy healing to you.....great job!!!!
Billie
P.S. I'm also an Erbitux girl, hope you didn't get too bad of the rash -

Schweeeet....
Congrats on a job well done.... Oh, sorry I guess I shouldn't say "well done" with your neck in the condition it is...bawahahaha...
I can only say that because most of us have been there done that, and now so have you.
Don't get too discouraged if you don't "bounce back" as quick as you MD suggests..obviously most of them have not walked the path we have.
But.....you are done, and even though you might take two steps forward and one back...soon there will be more steps forward and a lot less back.
Best to you and the mrs...

Wonderful!
Even though things may take longer to recover than you'd hope (and I hope you're out of the ordinary, and start improving right away), it's really good to know you're not doing anything else to damage yourself. Hope your recovery is quick, and boring from the doc's point of view. -

Congrats on the last Rad Ditto1, hope your recovery
will be free of any side effects.
God bless

Rads over
Congratulations! Life is fixing to get better. I am 5 months outfrom last RAD and just spent a week on vacation with my kids in Florida on the beach, swimming with manatees, and scalloping. I cannot believe how much better I am. The two weeks after my last Radiation were the worst. Good luck!
