Changes in skin after chemo and radiation

Since I've completed chemo and radiation, my face, forehead, and neck have a rash that I cannot get rid of. The dermatologist says its exzema. Usually something helps with exzema, but nothing is helping with this. I don't use soap b/c I have sensitive skin. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for your help.

    Rash
Hello songbird 757, I did have a rash after my treatment. I went to Macy's and bought all new cleaning supplies for my face and make up. It seemed to have cleared up and I have not had a problem since. Good Luck

    rads
My last rads were in 1998 and occasionally my neck will break out in a red itchy rash that is less visual then it is irritating. It usually takes 3 to 5 days to totally go away. I don't know how much rads you had, I had a total of 80 rad treatments.

    Hugs,

    Are you on tamoxifin or
Are you on tamoxifin or Arimidex? I had a rash and hives from tamoxifin but it went away after about a month ... any new mds can cause a rash .... hope you are better soon! SUE D
