lung nodule removal

I have new growth in 3 lung nodules..just wondering if anyone has had them removed and what procedure was used and how invasive it was..thanks flyguide

Try GRACE
GRACE has about 20 physicians, a number who are lung cancer specialists, and even though your nodules are secondary to colon cancer, they should be able to give a complete answer about options for dealing with the nodules. just provide as much detail as possible

Just had 4 removed from my
Just had 4 removed from my left lung & will be have 4 more reomved from right lung in another 4 weeks. Open surgery, 5 days in hosp (MDA)

Lung Nodules
I've had them removed with surgery (wedge resections) three times and four RFA's (Radio Frequency Ablations).
The RFA's are much less invasive and did not require an overnight stay at the hospital. Wedge resections were more complicated as would be expected.

You mentioned having lung nodules removed by a process radio frequency ablations what the heck is this treatment and does it get it completely gone please explain ?
