Scared
Sounds like the Dr. Is being very. Cautious...most are not. It is better to catch in early stages,,,or it may not be anything. I know the feeling of being scared, especially with a new baby. Praying for you to have good results..so please. come back..Val0 -

I have been to the doctors a lot about my problems as I have all the symptoms that point to ovarian cancer & my previous dr told me that there was nothing wrong with me it is normal for a girl my age to go through it so I changed my dr & this is where something has actually been found I really apreciate the reply I am just worried as I have a couple of people in my family that have had diffrent types of cancer xx0 -

Your doctor is doing the right thing in having you get a scan. It's very possible that the rise in your CA 125 is from some other non-serious reason but it's always good to have these things checked out, just to be sure. I know how hard it is not to worry and not think the worse. Do your best to focus on your beautiful baby and know that we are praying for good test results. Please let us know the outcome.
Take care,

I wish there was a cure for vancer for every1 as its always the best people that end up being poorly with it all the best to you survivors out there best wishes I hope for a speedy recovery xxxx0 -

My experience has been that the technicians who do the scan can't say anything to you - good or bad - and have to allow the doctor who ordered the scan to carefully review and share the results with you. I know how agonizing the wait can be, especially when you're trying not to think the worse but can't help it because the mind naturally goes there. No doubt, your mom and husband are going through the same emotions and at the same time, trying to not let you see it.
Thank you so much for your concern for all of us. I so wish there was a cure for cancer too! I'll be thinking and praying for you as you await your scan.

I'm so sorry that your father-in-law is having to deal with cancer. My husband is like your husband (and many men in general) in that he very rarely sheds tears, rarely shows sadness or fear. And your mom's reaction is understandable too.
Sending lots of good wishes to all of your family and praying for good outcomes to your scan.

Yasmin. I wish you the best and even though you sound like a lovely young lady I hope you are not eligible to join this group. This is one club where we don't want any new members. We will lovingly accept new members but wish no one else had to go through this.
