Hearing loss

Hi spaz ...
totally a guess based on what I think I remember others on this board saying...but if you had chemo you could have hearing loss from that as a side affect ...and it is a delayed said affect if I recall. Just like the numbness in the hands and / or feet .....
Someone will come along and chime in ...but all the same whispered a prayer this will be a very temp side affect for you ...
Best,
Tim -
Sorry about the hearing
Sorry about the hearing loss, but it is a possible side effect of radiation. I had radiation as a kid in 1978 and loss most of my hearing in my right ear 12 years later. Just got done with radiation a second time 3 weeks ago, and left ear is starting to lose hearing. You may have to look into hearing aids, as they really do help.

Thought I had read somewhere that hearing loss could be a temporary side effect. While I have not lost my hearing, I have a little buzzing going on from time to time. Am about 10 weeks out and it has continued. -

Rads effect...
Spazactaz,
I didn't get far enough in to rads, but have several acc buddies who have had issues with fluid build up and having to have it drained. Their ENT's are saying it's due to rads. Best advice is to see what your doc has to say. I'm sorry it seems never ending...please keep us posted. Will be thinking of you ! Katie
