Waiting is soooooo hard.
Hi Jessica, so sorry your dad and your family are going through this. Unfortunately it can take up to 72 hours to get results. He should hear by the weekend. Please ask if they did any mutation testing. Was he told the results of the PET scan? The scheduling of a chest x-ray seems out of place. It is going to be up to your dad and family to advocate for him. Call the doctor and demand an explanation. -

Yes they said when they did the PET scan that it was more than likely cancer. I thought the chest x-ray was strange too, thats why I asked. -
