one year out and...

N.E.D. Thanks to all of you, your support and experience was invaluable. Without this forum I would have had a mandibulotomy, and still be recovering. So, I can't tell you enough how grateful I am of the love and caring, you all have shown me.

    Congradulations
Always glad to hear when someone has attained a milestone. It will be seven more months before I reach the one-year mark. But it's good to know that others have made it. Rick.

    good report
    Jahnsart,

Congratulations on the one year NED, it truly is sweet sounding.

If I read you bio correctly, you made NED with surgery only, which is a very big feat. Keep doing it right.

    Best,

    Matt

My Dr at Mayo thinks that the morbidity of radiation and chemo as a first response is too high. He said that he is committed to changing the standard practice.

    Jahnsart good to hear ned
Jahnsart good to hear ned with surgery only. I am from Minnesota and had treatment at U of M, got a second opinion from mayo but it was the same. The laser debulking wouldn't get all the cancer so needed rad and chemo. All done with treatment now and waiting for scans in Oct.
